Hey all!
So here we are. It's been a crazy past few months as we have been filming Once Upon A Nightmare! Though many unexpected events have occurred, we've maintained momentum and only have a couple more weeks of filming!! Filming this has literally been one of the best experiences of my life. Though our patience, endurance and sanity have all been tested we stand tall looking at the steady decline of the hill we are currently atop. This cast has been some of the best people we have ever had the pleasure of working with and we are stoked for the possibility to welcome them back in the future! Please give a huge hand to them for without them, we wouldn't be able to do what we love. Please check back soon because we will be putting up cast profiles this weekend! Finally, We are beginning to complete actions required to bring this movie to you! As things become more concrete, we will let you know. So please, please, please check back with us regularly!! Thanks so much for all the continued support, guys. It means the world to us. Gina Danielle McKay Once Upon a Nightmare

Man,,, what a crazy month! Not only did I get the wild hair up my ass to write a script but I also had a friend throw a whole lot of fuck its my way and talk me into actually filming. One full month and we were able to produce a ten minute flick. This may not sound like much... but seriously, I can't even right now. We have a site, a studio a film and an ambition that is driving us to do more and more. I barely have time to celebrate about actually completing a project that all of us thought would fall through the cracks because I'm already thinking about the next one. I can't stop now. They say acting is a bug but for me... it's all about directing. Hematolangnia is a film that will stand on its own. I wont try to explain any issues. It is filled with flaws, but I also want to think that it shows promise. All our problems are simple... i hope... things that we didn't even know to look for. This movie felt like your big brother trying to show you how not to get beat up by the bully by beating you up himself instead. It hurt like a son of a bitch but I do feel like i know how to take a jab now. The movie was filmed in Hampton, Georgia... no clue why I feel the need to share this... Primarily at a local brewery and my house. I don't think I'm ever going to get all the blood stains out of my showers. All and all I think it was worth it. My wallet is a bit lighter and I've lost quite a few nights of sleep but Its been a lot of fun. I've never been this excited to do work, so I'm going to ride this wave to the finish. Anyways, now that you've made it through my rambling introduction, let me be the first to present to you Hematolangnia. Keep a look out for news on our first feature film "Once Upon a Nightmare!" Which we hope to bring to you soon. Richard Tanner March 2015 Hello ladies 'n gents.

Today is the first day our site is up, so I will tell you a little about the things we are working on here at A Buck Short. We are currently working on our newest film, Hematolangnia. This is a short film starring Ryan Morris and Gina Danielle McKay. Sophie (Gina Danielle McKay) is troubled, post-breakup. So naturally, she turns to the internet to solve her problems. There, she meets Jude (Ryan Morris), an older man who has a little more in store for her than buying a drink for a pretty at the bar. Soon Jude's true intensions are made clear, and we find out a sinister secret he has been hiding from Sophie. But is Sophie in too far? Will she be able to get herself out of the trouble she began? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, so there is a short synopsis.
